Hubbard Bike Club

This week we’ll again be riding Hubbard mountains both single and double track.
Afterwards we’ll enjoy Murazzi’s sweet sausage n pepper sandwiches along with fries.
Also Bryan Rood another great musician will be playing some really good tunes for our enjoyment. Come on out and enjoy the good riding at the best time of year.

Josh and I did our annual Summer Solstice ride on the single track trails of Hubbard Mt.

The trails are as good as they get. We’ll again break up into smaller groups and ride the double and single track trails on Hubbard for this weeks ride

Afterwards we have local musician Patrick McGlynn of ” Blinded Passenger ” playing our favorite music outside the barn on a beautiful warm summer night.

Also this week our food will be smorgasbord style.

Can’t wait for this coming weekend with the beautiful weather plus the Firemans picnic season is here. This coming Saturday evening “Old Friends” is playing in Elmhurst. A really well organized picnic with great food and music. Annual Picnic .

Then on Sunday the “First Summer Lounge ride.” Banshee ride.

This week we’ll again enjoy riding the trails on Hubbard!
Jay De Jesus and some of the Lehigh Valley Mountain Bikers are coming up to join in on this Thursdays Hubbard riding.  Also the greatest music from our own Matt Beekman and his band “Garage Mahal” will be playing our favorite tunes for our after ride relaxation time.
We’ll be serving homemade stuffed bell peppers along with mashed potatoes and corn plus dessert.

Nice ride last week over to the Jermyn overlook on Cary Mt.One of the best spots on that mt.

For this weeks ride we can ride the single and double track trails on Hubbard.

Afterwards we’ll be having Lasagna,Fresh Salad plus a good dessert.

Was nice seeing everyone on the ride last  week and especially everyone helping  support and riding The Heritage Explorer  Bike Tour |  Lackawanna Heritage Valley  Authority and  making it a huge success and  it turned out to  be a very nice ride for all  types of riders of all  ages.

A beautiful weekend of many good rides and perfect weather.

Thanks to all the Veterans for making the Memorial Day Weekend such a great day that all of us Americans can share each year. We really do have to appreciate every day of our freedom and never take it for granted.

This week for Thursdays ride we’ll ride to the Jermyn Overlook on Cary Mt. .Then downhill into the Lackawanna Valley past the World famous “Archbald Pothole” . Finally the mile long steep climb over Hubbard Mt to the barn for a good leg burner of a ride.

Afterwards Caesar Salad, Pasta with Marinara sauce , Meatballs and Sausage plus Dessert.

Also this coming Saturday the The Heritage Explorer Bike Tour | Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority

Lets enjoy the day and explore the trails along the scenic Lackawanna River.
